My dear friends,

Traversing through a gloomy 2020, a year of gory pandemic, to hopeful and dynamic 2021.

With the quarter of 2021 passed by, we at MAMC are brimming with vibrant energy more than ever. Our corona warriors did not leave any stone unturned to defeat COVID 19. Working day and night, struggling their way through to save lives…. Helping humanity. They tended to somebody’s mother/father/brother/sister/child and gave a helping hand and hope, working together to create limitless value. This is not the first darkest time for humanity, which has been devastated by conflicts of two world wars of unprecedented scale. There is victory for stronger and courageous spirit.

We are in the phase of opening up, resurrecting ourselves to the same, if not higher, level. We are here for our students, our patients, our research projects. Online teaching is an alternative to physical teaching? Can this be a viable alternative? Skills have to be taught, learnt, and observed. Ears are to be trained to listen to rumbles from chest and eyes to screen for the signs from the moment the patient enters for consultation. We have to impart them skills. I am a firm believer that a strong skill defeats the best of technology.

Our patients are the reason for our survival. We exist because they are there. Let us focus and make collective efforts to hold hands, pool in our efforts, race, charge ahead to make MAMC academically rich institution. More projects, more publications, more satisfied patients.

I promise to work with you, support you in your endeavors, so that the road ahead becomes less bumpy and summit climb a little easier.
